INTERPRETER/LANGUAGE SERVICES

You are entitled to language assistance, including an interpreter or translation services, if you cannot speak or understand English.  Please contact the court for more information regarding Interpreter/Language Services.

FOR THOSE NEEDING HEARING ASSISTANCE:

​

  • The Court will arrange for a sign language interpreter whenever a person who cannot hear is a party to any legal proceeding or called as a witness.

  • To request a sign language interpreter, you must contact the Clerk of Court at 225-654-0044 or by email at zccinfo@zacharycitycourt.org. 

  • Requests should be made as far in advance as possible using our Request for Interpreter Form.

FOR THOSE WITH LIMITED ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REFER TO THE COURT'S​

  • Any person wishing to request a language interpreter in order to participate in a Court proceeding should contact the Clerk of Court by email at zccinfo@zacharycitycourt.org.

  • Requests for interpreters should be made as far in advance as possible using our Request for Interpreter Form.

  • All interpretation requests should describe the language and dialect sought.

  • Cualquier persona que desee solicitar un intérprete en suidioma con el fin de participar en un procedimiento judicial debe comunicarse con el secretario del tribunal por correo electrónico a zccinfo@zacharycitycourt.org

  • Las solicitudes de intérpretes debe hacerse con la mayor anticipación posible.

  • Todas las solicitudes de interpretación debe incluir una descripción del idioma y / ó dialecto solicitado.
